Last week we got quite a bit of ice in a storm and before I could get my driveway cleaned my brother drove into it, hit his breaks, and slid hard into my garage door. My heart sank and I got very light headed. My brother’s truck was hardly scratched, but my garage door took a direct hit. I just had Roman Doors Inc garage contractor replace the door and this time I got a steel one. This company was totally awesome.

We ordered (and purchased) a new garage door through HD (in Lompoc). They contracted the job out to Roman Doors in Santa Maria. We received a call from their office (when the materials came in) to schedule the installation date. The girl (sounded young, early twenties maybe) seemed new or disorganized. I don't feel the call was "bad enough" to drop a whole star....But a suggestion: when you call to schedule an installation that's going to take a few hours, I feel it is wise (and customer service oriented) to have more than one day available so you don't "Umm, I need to call you back because I don't know any other days open".
Anyway, the man that stopped by to do a quick confirmation measure was the man that returned to install. Tim (I should've asked his last name) was obviously an expert in his field, personable and professional. He arrived right at noon (we were given a "10am-2pm" arrival window). He quickly removed our old door and old metal tracks. Then Tim meticulously put the new track and door in. He was here for about 4 1/2 - 5 hours, including a break for food I forced on him. :)
I gotta say, I never expected to be so excited about a new garage door but...I am! And Tim from Roman Doors was great, highly recommend requesting him.

Easy to get an appointment to service our garage doors and deliver the much needed exorcism of a very moody door opener. Overall, very pleased with service. The opener provided was a little more expensive than I hoped to pay, but price included installation and door service. Thanks again Roman Doors!

I recently had one of my garage door torsion springs break. I called Roman Doors on a Monday morning. They said they could have someone out to my house by noon. Roman stayed in contact with me to let me know when the Technician was on his way.  I then received a call from Tim who said that he was on his way. Tim was very professional, knowledgeable, and down to earth. Tim replaced my springs and gave me some garage door maintenance tips.  My garage door and opener in now functioning smoother and more quietly. I will be upgrading my garage door soon and will be contacting Roman Doors to perform the work.
